Refund Policy

Tampa Roots – Refund Policy
Effective Date: 01/01/2025

At Tampa Roots, we take pride in delivering quality landscape design and maintenance services tailored to each customer. Because our work is custom, hands-on, and labor-based, we do not offer refunds once services have been performed.

Please read our refund policy carefully:

1. Non-Refundable Services

All completed services—including design work, planting, maintenance, and one-time refreshes—are non-refundable. Once time, labor, and materials have been invested in your project, no portion of the payment will be returned.

2. Deposits & Prepayments

For larger projects or recurring maintenance plans, deposits or prepayments may be required to secure your scheduled service. These payments are non-refundable unless canceled with sufficient notice (see Section 4 below).

3. Unsatisfactory Service Concerns

If you’re not satisfied with your service, please notify us in writing within 48 hours of the completed visit. We’ll do our best to address reasonable concerns and may offer a touch-up or correction at our discretion. However, dissatisfaction alone does not guarantee a refund.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a service. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in a $50 fee and forfeiture of any deposit.

5. Refunds Due to Weather or Rescheduling

If we are unable to perform your service due to weather, illness, or other circumstances, we will offer to reschedule at no cost. Refunds will only be considered if rescheduling is not possible and no service has been rendered.

6. Plant Material & Product Refunds

We do not offer refunds on plants or materials once they’ve been installed. All plant sales are final. We cannot guarantee plant survival due to factors beyond our control, including weather, watering, pests, or soil conditions.

7. Subscription Plans

If you cancel a recurring maintenance plan with at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing cycle, you will not be charged for future services. Payments already processed for completed or upcoming visits are non-refundable.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

Filing a credit card dispute or chargeback without giving us an opportunity to resolve the issue may result in termination of service and forfeiture of any remaining work. If a dispute arises, we’ll gladly work with you to reach a fair resolution.
